Planted in 1989, this vineyard lies along the Russian River. It has taken awhile, but we have isolated the area of the vineyard that makes a wine with such distinction that it was added to our single vineyard selections. Rich black berry fruit combine with a touch of anise much like the famed West Block. This is a generous wine with ripe fruit flavors, firm tannins and crisp acidity. Fourteen barrels were bottled with the average yield in the vineyard at 2.4 tons per acre.
