This wine has aromas of rich blackberry, earth and spice with a touch of vanilla.  Elegant and rich on the palate, the refined tannins and firm acidity are in perfect balance.  One of the newest plantings, 1999 and 2000, Sweetwater vineyard is located at the highest elevation of our estate.  The average yield was 3.0 tons per acre.
