2006 Pinot Noir Little Hill

The Little Hill rises just above the West Block. The red soils are limited and rocky which impart a unique quality to this wine yielding only 1.6 tons per acre. This wine has rich concentrated aromas of black cherry with a touch of earth that is unique to this vineyard. Its full flavors and firm structure make this wine a great one for your cellar. Twenty-four barrels were bottled.

 

2006 Pinot Noir West Block

This vineyard was planted in 1970 and has become the most recognized vineyard of our property. This wine has intense black cherries, vanilla, anise and smoke in the nose with rich cherry and vanilla flavors that are full and balanced by the soft tannins and firm acidity. Yields were 1.8 tons per acre and seventeen barrels were bottled.

 

2006 Pinot Noir East Block

This is our oldest Pinot Noir vineyard planted in 1968. This wine possesses perfumed ripe cherries, vanilla and spice in the nose with rich blackberry and vanilla flavors that are full and balanced by refined tannins and firm acidity. This is an elegant wine of world-class proportions. The yield was 1.37 tons per acre and eight barrels were bottled.
